Job summary

Lowe's Home Centers, LLC is seeking a part-time Sales Specialist to engage customers, understand project needs, and guide them to the right products and services. You will become a product expert, discuss features, financing options, and promotions to close sales.

You will work across departments, move throughout the store, answer phones, and help customers achieve their home improvement goals in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year in customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe’s retail experience.
• 1 year of experience in sales or customer service with sales goals or metrics.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and communicating product advantages.
• Serve as point of contact for customers and vendors, provide project estimates and schedule installer visits.
• Coordinate and track customer orders/installations and ensure project completion.
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services.
• Monitor inventory levels and work with vendors to order replacement stock.
• Support checkout functions and assist customers on the sales floor.
