Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a part-time Sales Specialist in New Mexico to guide customers in selecting home improvement products and turning ideas into action. You will assist on the showroom floor, answer questions, provide estimates, and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery and installation in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred candidates may have experience completing customer sales orders, knowledge of installation services, and bi-lingual abilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience in customer-facing sales or Lowe’s retail experience (or 3 years external sales or 18 months Lowe's retail if education not met).
• 1 year of experience in sales or customer service with sales goals or metrics.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and communicating product advantages.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors, provide estimates, schedule installer visits, process orders, and follow up on project completion.
• If in Pro Department, focus on outside sales and accounts.
• Monitor inventory levels to support sales and coordinate with vendors/stores for stock.
• Perform price reviews according to pricing policies and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support all checkout functions and handle departmental requests for assistance.
• Train associates in the department and coach on development needs.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
