Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a Sales Specialist to assist customers, demonstrate product knowledge, and guide home improvement projects to completion. You will move throughout the store, answer questions, discuss project needs, and help customers close sales with informed recommendations and financing options.

In this role, you will become a product expert across departments, support checkout, and train teammates. Bilingual skills and prior sales experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year in customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe's retail experience.
• 1 year in sales or customer service with sales goals or metrics.
• Able to read, write and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or more with assistance.
• Obtain sales-related licensure/registration if required by state.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding needs and explaining Lowe's product advantages.
• Serve as point of contact for customers and vendors, estimate projects, schedule installer visits, track orders.
• If in Pro Dept, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services.
• Monitor inventory and work with vendors/stores to reorder stock.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support checkout functions and store communications.
• Train associates on the Sales floor and coach development needs.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
