Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED with customer-facing sales experience.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic; stand and sit for long periods.
• Experience achieving sales goals or metrics in a retail or service environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding needs and communicating product advantages.
• Serve as department contact for customers and vendors, handling estimates and orders.
• If in Pro Dept, focus on external accounts and outside sales.
• Monitor inventory, coordinate with vendors to restock merchandise.
• Perform price reviews and ensure pricing accuracy and documentation.
• Support checkout functions and assist on-demand throughout the store.
• Train associates on the floor and coach development needs.
