Job summary

Lowe’s is hiring a Sales Specialist to greet customers, identify needs, and guide them to the right home improvement solutions. You’ll be the product expert, explain features, promotions and financing options to help close sales.

You’ll work across departments such as Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, and more, moving throughout the store to assist customers and ensure excellent service. Training and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in customer-facing sales or 6 months in Lowe’s retail experience (or 3 years external sales or 18 months Lowe’s retail if education not met).
• 1 year of experience in sales or customer service in a sales environment with required sales goals or metrics.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and communicating product advantages.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors within your department, providing project estimates and scheduling installer visits.
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales.
• Monitor inventory levels to support sales and coordinate with vendors for replacement stock.
• Train associates on the Sales floor and coach around development needs.
