Job summary

Lowe’s is hiring a Sales Specialist to assist customers in select departments, helping them identify products, discuss project needs, and close sales. You will become a product expert, explaining features, promotions, and financing options to meet customer goals in a fast-paced store environment.

You may work in Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Millwork, Fashion Plumbing, Outlet, Tool Rental, Pro, or Windows & Walls, contributing to a positive shopping experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience in customer-facing sales or Lowe's retail experience.
• 1 year of sales or customer service experience in a sales environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and explaining Lowe's products.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors within the department, handling orders and installations.
• In the Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with vendors to restock merchandise.
• Assist with price reviews and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support checkout and assist with store operations.
• Train associates in the department and provide on-the-job coaching.
