Job summary

Lowe’s is seeking a Sales Specialist to greet customers, assess home improvement needs, and guide them to the right products. You will become a product expert, explaining features, promotions, and financing options to close sales.

You’ll work across departments including Appliances, Flooring, and Live Nursery, providing excellent service and supporting store goals with strong customer engagement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months in Lowe’s retail, or 3 years external sales if education not met.
• 1 year of sales or customer service experience with goals/metrics.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods and lift at least 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and communicating product advantages.
• Act as department point of contact for customers and vendors, including estimating projects and scheduling visits.
• In Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services.
• Monitor inventory levels and work with vendors to reorder stock.
• Train associates in the department and coach for development.
