Job summary

Lowe's is hiring a Sales Specialist in a part-time role. You will engage customers, understand project needs, discuss product options, and help turn ideas into home improvement results. You’ll act as a product expert, explain features, promotions, and financing to close sales, while supporting store goals.

You’ll work across departments such as Appliances, Flooring, and Tools, with opportunities for training and growth within Lowe's store environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months of Lowe's retail experience (or 3 years external sales / 18 months Lowe's if education not met).
• 1 year of sales or customer service experience with sales goals or metrics.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and explaining Lowe's products and services.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors within the department, handling estimates, scheduling installs, processing orders and following up for project completion.
• If in the Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services.
• Monitor inventory and work with vendors/stores to source merchandise and replacements.
• Complete price reviews per pricing policies and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support checkout functions and departmental communications.
• Train associates on the sales floor and coach development needs.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
