Job summary

Lowe’s in Peoria, AZ is seeking a Sales Specialist to help customers identify products and turn home improvement ideas into reality. You will become a product expert, discuss project needs, and close sales with strong service and knowledge.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, handling orders, and collaborating with departments to ensure satisfaction. A flexible, part of a busy retail team environment is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school level education or GED required.
• At least 1 year of customer-facing sales or 6 months in Lowe’s retail experience.
• 1 year of sales or customer service experience in a sales environment with goals.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand and sit for extended periods and lift at least 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding needs and explaining Lowe’s advantages.
• Serve as point of contact for customers and vendors within your department; estimate projects and schedule visits.
• If in Pro Dept, focus on external accounts and outside sales.
• Monitor inventory levels; coordinate with vendors and stores for stock.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support checkout and store communications; assist customers on the floor.
• Train associates on the sales floor and mentor development.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
