Job summary

Lowe's is hiring a Sales Specialist to help customers identify products, explain features, and close sales while delivering friendly, knowledgeable service in-store. Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in customer-facing sales or six months in Lowe’s retail experience.
• One year of experience in sales or customer service in a sales environment with required sales goals or metrics.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Able to lift 25 lbs unassisted or more with assistance if needed.
• Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by state (Lowe’s will support).

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and communicating product advantages.
• Serve as point of contact for customers and vendors within your department, handling estimates, scheduling, orders, and follow-ups.
• In the Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with vendors/stores to restock.
• Price reviews per policies and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support checkout functions and store communications.
• Train associates on the sales floor and coach on development needs.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
