Job summary

Lowe's in the United States is seeking a Sales Specialist who helps customers identify products and translate project ideas into reality. You will become a product expert, explaining specifications, features, and financing options to close sales while delivering outstanding service.

You will work in various departments based on hiring needs and skillsets, with opportunities for bonus and growth within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe's retail experience (or 3 years external sales / 18 months Lowe's if education not met).
• 1 year of sales or customer service experience with goals/metrics.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and communicating product advantages.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors within your department, providing project estimates and scheduling installer visits.
• If in the Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services.
• Monitor inventory levels to support sales and coordinate with vendors/stores for stock.
• Perform price reviews per pricing policies and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support all checkout functions and assist with store communications.
• Train associates on the Sales floor and coach about development needs.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
