Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Customer Service Associate to warmly welcome customers and help them find the right home improvement products and services. You will interact with customers throughout the day, assist with locating merchandise, stock shelves, and ensure customer needs are met.

Daily duties include answering questions, processing orders, and potentially working in multiple departments. Prior retail experience and bilingual skills are a plus; physical requirements include standing and lifting

Qualifications

• Six months of computer experience.
• Six months of experience using common retail technology (smartphones/tablets).
• Ability to read, write and perform basic arithmetic (addition/subtraction).
• Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing and sitting.
• Minimum lifting 25 lbs unassisted or more with/without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise
• Stock merchandise by scanning shelves and replenishing supplies
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive items on time
• Cross-train in other store areas to help deliver the best customer service
• Prepare department merchandise based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe)
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout
• Complete other duties as assigned
