Responsibilities include locating merchandise, stocking, processing orders, and cross-training in other areas to deliver excellent service. This role emphasizes flexible department placement and practical daily tasks.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer for basic tasks.
• 6 months experience with common retail technology (phones/tablets).
• Ability to read, write and perform basic arithmetic.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform duties as required.
• Able to lift 25 lbs unassisted.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers, answer questions, and deliver friendly service.
• Assist customers in locating and handling merchandise.
• Stock merchandise by replenishing shelves as needed.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately for on-time fulfillment.
• Cross-train in other store areas to improve customer service.
• Prepare department merchandise per customer needs (e.g., paint, pipes, wood).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
