Job summary

Lowe's is hiring a Customer Service Associate to warmly welcome customers and help them find the right products for home improvement. You will engage with shoppers, answer questions, and deliver friendly, professional service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Roles vary by department and you may assist in appliances, hardware, garden, or other areas. Some lifting and standing are required; part-time schedules with competitive pay and benefits are available.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer and inputting data
• 6 months experience using common retail technology (smartphones, tablets)
• Reading, writing and basic arithmetic
• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods and perform duties
• Minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or more with accommodation

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's and provide friendly, professional service
• Assist customers in locating and handling merchandise
• Restock shelves and replenish supplies as needed
• Process orders and deliveries accurately and on time
• Cross-train in other store areas to enhance customer service
• Prepare department merchandise for customer needs (e.g., paint, pipes, lumber)
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout
• Perform additional duties as assigned
