Job summary

Lowe's is hiring a Sales Specialist to greet customers, assess project needs, and guide them to the right home improvement solutions. You will become the product expert, explaining specs, promos, and financing options to close sales. You may work in departments such as Appliances, Flooring, Windows & Walls, or Pro services.

The role emphasizes active customer interaction, merchandising knowledge, and ability to drive sales while delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in customer-facing sales or Lowe’s retail experience.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Lowe's will support sales licensure if required by state.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding needs and communicating product advantages.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors within your department.
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with vendors to order stock.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support checkout functions and departmental communications.
• Train associates on the sales floor and coach development needs.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
