Job summary

Lowe’s is seeking a Customer Service Associate to welcome customers, answer questions, and help them find the right items for home improvement. You'll spend much of your time listening to customers, arranging merchandise, and providing responsive service in a store environment.

Responsibilities vary by department, and associates may cross-train to support different areas. This role supports customers through the checkout process and aims to deliver the best possible shopping experience.

Qualifications

• 6 months of computer use (inputting, accessing, modifying data)
• 6 months of retail tech use (smartphones/tablets)
• Reading, writing and basic arithmetic
• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs (unassisted)

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional service
• Assist customers in locating and handling merchandise
• Restock shelves and replenish supplies as needed
• Process orders and deliveries accurately and on time
• Cross-train in other store areas to support service quality
• Prepare merchandise per customer needs (e.g., tint/paint, cut/bundling)
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout
• Complete additional duties as assigned
