Job summary

Lowe’s is seeking a Customer Service Associate to welcome customers, assist with product selection, and support store operations across departments. You will help customers locate items, load merchandise when needed, and ensure requests are met with care.

Your role involves listening to customers, answering questions, and rotating through responsibilities to maintain a high standard of service. The position supports a friendly, inclusive environment at Lowe’s.

Qualifications

• Six months of computer use including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• Six months of experience with common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand or sit for extended periods and perform job duties.
• Able to minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or more with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe’s and provide friendly, professional service.
• Help customers locate and handle merchandise.
• Replenish stock and keep areas organized on the floor.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive correct items on time.
• Cross-train in other store areas to improve service.
• Prepare department merchandise per customer needs (e.g., paint, pipes, wood, drywall, blinds).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
