Job summary

As a Lowe’s Customer Service Associate, you welcome customers and help them find the right products and services for their home improvement needs. You interact throughout the day to ensure customer satisfaction and meet their needs.

You may work in multiple departments based on store needs, with duties that include answering questions, stocking, assisting with orders, and checking out customers.

Qualifications

• Experience using computers (6+ months) and basic arithmetic.
• Experience using smartphones/tablets for retail tasks.
• Reading, writing and basic arithmetic are required.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform required duties.
• Able to lift 25 lbs unassisted or more with accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with friendly, professional service.
• Help customers locate and handle merchandise.
• Stock shelves and replenish as needed.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately and on time.
• Cross-train in other store areas to improve service.
• Prepare department merchandise (e.g., paint, pipe, wood, drywall, blinds).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
