Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. in Texas is seeking a Customer Service Associate to welcome shoppers and help them find the right products and services for their home improvement projects, delivering friendly, practical assistance.

You will assist customers across departments, stock shelves, process orders and deliveries, and participate in cross-training to ensure outstanding service. The role supports part-time schedules with opportunities for growth and helpful benefits.

Qualifications

Six months of experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
Six months of experience with common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets.
Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction).
Able to stand, sit, and perform duties as required by the role.
Ability to minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or more with/without accommodation.

Responsibilities

Welcome customers to Lowe's, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service.
Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
Stock merchandise by checking shelves and replenishing supplies.
Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive items on time.
Cross-train in other areas of the store to improve service.
Prepare department merchandise according to customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood).
Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
Complete other duties as assigned.
