Job summary

Lowe’s is actively seeking a Customer Service Associate in Houston to welcome customers, help them find products, and provide friendly, knowledgeable service throughout the store. You’ll interact with shoppers, answer questions, and help with merchandise selection and checkout.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer or retail technology.
• 6 months experience in retail or customer service preferred.
• Reading, writing and basic arithmetic skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe’s and deliver friendly, professional service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Down stock merchandise and replenish shelves as needed.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately and on time.
• Cross-train in other store areas to support service quality.
• Prepare department merchandise according to customer needs (e.g., paint, pipe, wood, drywall, blinds).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout and complete other duties as assigned.
