Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Customer Service Associate to welcome customers and help them find the right products for home improvement needs. You will interact with customers throughout the day, assist with locating merchandise, and ensure customer needs are met with friendly, efficient service.

Responsibilities include managing stock, processing orders, and collaborating with other departments to deliver top-notch service. This role typically supports store operations in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer and basic software tools.
• 6 months experience using common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets.
• Reading, writing and arithmetic skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform required tasks.
• Able to lift 25 lbs unassisted or more with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's and provide friendly, professional service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Replenish stock by identifying empty spaces and restocking.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately to ensure timely pickup or delivery.
• Cross-train in other areas to support customer service excellence.
• Prepare department merchandise per customer needs (e.g., paint, pipes, lumber, drywall, blinds).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
