Job summary

Lowe's in the United States is seeking a Customer Service Associate to greet customers and help them find the right products and services for home improvement needs. You will interact with customers throughout the day, answer questions, and ensure their needs are met.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, modifying information).
• 6 months experience using common retail technology (smartphones or tablets).
• Reading, writing and basic arithmetic required.
• Able to stand for long periods and perform duties as needed.
• Able to lift 25 lbs unassisted or more with accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise
• Down stock merchandise by looking for empty areas on shelves and replenishing supplies
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise as expected and on time
• Cross-functionally train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service
• Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood, cut drywall, cut blinds)
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout
• Complete other duties as assigned
