Job summary

Lowe's is hiring a part-time Customer Service Associate in Tyler, TX. You will welcome customers, help them find products, and ensure their needs are met throughout their shopping experience.

You may work in various departments and will handle tasks such as locating items, stocking shelves, processing orders, and assisting customers at checkout. Bilingual skills and prior retail or customer service experience are advantageous.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer
• 6 months experience using common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets
• Reading, writing, and basic arithmetic proficiency
• Able to perform duties with prolonged standing and lifting up to 25 lbs
• 6 months of Retail and/or customer service experience
• Bi-lingual skills
• Certification in a trade related to department (e.g., hardware, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden, lumber/building materials)

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise
• Down stock merchandise by checking for empty areas on shelves and replenishing supplies
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise on time
• Cross-functionally train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service
• Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood, cut drywall, cut blinds)
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout
• Complete other duties as assigned
