Job summary

Qualifications

• Basic computer use and data entry.
• Experience with retail technology such as smartphones or tablets.
• Reading, writing and basic arithmetic.
• Ability to stand, sit, and perform duties for extended periods.
• Able to lift 25 lbs unassisted or more with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and deliver friendly, professional service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Stock merchandise by checking shelves and replenishing supplies.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately and on time.
• Cross-train in other areas to improve service delivery.
• Prepare department merchandize per customer needs (paint, pipes, wood, drywall, blinds).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
