Job summary

Lowe’s Companies, Inc. in Van Buren, AR is seeking a Customer Service Associate to greet customers and help them find home improvement solutions. You will assist with locating products, answer questions, and ensure a friendly shopping experience throughout the store.

In this part-time role, you’ll join a team that values service, safety, and efficiency. You may stock shelves, process orders, and support multiple departments as needed, contributing to smooth store operations every day.

Qualifications

• 6 months of computer experience, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• 6 months experience with common retail tech, such as smartphones and tablets.
• Reading, writing, and basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction).
• Able to stand for long periods and perform job duties as required.
• Able to lift 25 lbs unassisted, or more with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe’s, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Restock merchandise by identifying empty shelves and replenishing products.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise as expected and on time.
• Cross-functionally train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service.
• Prepare department merchandise per customer needs (e.g., tint/mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut wood/drywall/blinds).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
