Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is hiring a part-time Customer Service Associate to welcome shoppers, answer questions, and help them find the right home improvement products.

You will assist with locating merchandise, load and stock as needed, process orders and deliveries, and participate in cross-functional training across departments to deliver outstanding service. This role supports customers in various store departments and may require standing, lifting up to 25 lbs, and adapting to different tasks

Qualifications

• Six months of computer usage experience, including data entry and retrieval.
• Six months using typical retail tech like smartphones and tablets.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Ability to stand for long periods and handle lifting up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise
• Down stock merchandise by looking for empty areas on shelves and replenishing supplies
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise as expected and on time
• Cross-functionally train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service
• Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood, cut drywall, cut blinds)
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout
• Complete other duties as assigned
