Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Associate to welcome customers, help them find products, and provide friendly, knowledgeable service across departments such as Appliances, Hardware, and Garden. You will load merchandise, answer questions, and ensure customer needs are met throughout the day.

This role emphasizes helping customers solve home improvement challenges while delivering efficient, accurate service and contributing to a positive store atmosphere.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer and inputting/modifying data.
• 6 months experience using common retail tech (phones/tablets).
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
• Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods and perform duties.
• Able to minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers, answer questions, and deliver friendly, professional service.
• Assist customers in locating and handling merchandise.
• Restock shelves and replenish supplies as needed.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately for on-time arrival.
• Cross-train in other store areas to improve service.
• Prepare department merchandise per customer needs (e.g., paint, pipe, wood, drywall, blinds).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
