Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking a dynamic business development professional to manage relationships with referral sources such as physicians, hospitals, and senior living communities. You will educate partners on our services and program requirements to drive referrals and smooth post-acute transitions.

The role requires 2+ years in healthcare business development or related fields, a strong grasp of Medicare/home health regulations, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, marketing, or related field, or licensed professional in nursing, therapy, or social work.
• Minimum two years in healthcare business development, community relations, marketing, or sales.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws governing Medicare home health and hospice operations.
• Valid state driver’s license and automobile liability insurance.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Experience in home health, hospice, post-acute care or related healthcare services preferred.
• Experience with electronic referral systems and HCHB preferred.
• Dependable transportation and ability to drive in various weather conditions.
• Fluency in English; strong oral and written communication; active listening.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary relationship manager between the company and referral sources, including physicians, hospitals, health systems, and senior living communities.
• Educate referral sources, patients, families, and partners about services and program requirements to drive awareness and referrals.
• Support post-acute care transitions to improve patient outcomes, care transitions, and satisfaction.
