Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking a proactive business development professional to manage relationships with physicians, hospitals, and referral sources. You will educate partners on Enhabit services and program requirements to drive referrals and seamless post-acute transitions.

The role requires a healthcare-related degree or equivalent experience, minimum two years in healthcare business development, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, marketing, or related field; equivalent years of experience considered.
• Graduate of an approved school of nursing, therapy or social work is highly preferred.
• Minimum two years of experience in healthcare business development, community relations, marketing, or sales.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws governing Medicare certified home health and hospice operations.
• Valid state driver's license and automobile liability insurance are required.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills; fluent English.
• In-office attendance is essential for Enhabit objectives; remote work not typically available.

Responsibilities

• Acts as primary relationship manager between Enhabit and referral sources (physicians, hospitals, health systems, senior living, associations).
• Supports referral growth through awareness and education of services and program requirements.
• Helps navigate post-acute care transitions to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Represent company in community and professional settings to promote services.
