Job summary

Adoration Health in Vienna, WV is hiring a Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant to provide patient-centered care in a 1:1 home setting. The role requires an active PTA license and BLS/CPR certification, with a preference for at least one year of PTA experience in rehabilitation for neurological injuries.

You will work under a Physical Therapist, collaborating on treatment plans, progress notes, and equipment needs, with opportunities for advancement in a growing home health company.

Qualifications

• Current Basic Life Support or CPR certification.
• A minimum of one year's work experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred.
• Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury.

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy services planned, delegated and supervised by the qualified Physical Therapist in accordance with the patient's Plan of Treatment.
• Confers with Physical Therapist regularly regarding patient’s plan of treatment, status of progress toward goals, questions and concerns.
• Communicates patient’s needs and progress to the Physical Therapist of record and assists in securing adaptive equipment to improve function.
