Job summary

Adoration Health is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant for full-time home health work in Charlottesville, VA, with coverage for Culpeper, Louisa, and surrounding areas. The PTA will provide 1:1 patient care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist and contribute to progress toward treatment goals.

The role requires an active PTA license, BLS/CPR certification, and at least 1 year of PTA experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted PTA license in the practicing state.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Minimum 1 year PTA experience preferred.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury.

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy services planned, delegated and supervised by the qualified Physical Therapist in accordance with the patient's Plan of Treatment.
• Communicates regularly with the Physical Therapist regarding progress toward goals and concerns.
• Assists in securing adaptive equipment and uses it to enhance rehabilitation.
• Maintains and submits patient treatment and billing documentation per regulations.
