Adoration Health in Wheeling, WV is seeking a passionate Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. The PTA will provide 1:1, patient-centered care under a Physical Therapist, with opportunities for independence and team support.

Schedule is full-time with a $5,000 sign-on for external candidates. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, mileage reimbursement, generous PTO, and wellness programs. Licensure and CPR required; prior home health preferred.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted PTA license in the practicing state.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• At least 1 year of PTA experience preferred.
• Experience with rehabilitation for neurological injury or complex cases is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy services planned, delegated and supervised by the qualified Physical Therapist in accordance with the patient’s Plan of Treatment.
• Confers with Physical Therapist regularly regarding patient’s plan of treatment, status of progress toward goals, questions and concerns.
• Communicates patient’s needs and progress to the Physical Therapist of record and assists in securing special adaptive equipment for patient to improve function.
• Maintains and submits patient treatment and billing documentation in the format and timelines required by the Company, facility, funding source, local, state and federal regulations.
