Job summary

Adoration Health in Franklin, VA is seeking a compassionate Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team on a PRN basis. You will provide 1:1 patient care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, delivering evidence-based rehabilitative services in a home setting.

The ideal candidate holds an unrestricted PTA license, BLS/CPR certification, and has 1+ year of PTA experience, with knowledge of neurological rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• Current valid license for Physical Therapist Assistant in the practicing state.
• Current BLS/CPR certification in accordance with state regulations.
• Minimum of one year of PTA experience preferred.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury.

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy services planned, delegated and supervised by the Physical Therapist as per treatment plan.
• Regularly communicates progress and questions regarding the plan of treatment with the PT of record.
• Assists in securing adaptive equipment to improve function and incorporate it into rehabilitation.
• Maintains and submits patient treatment and billing documentation on time per regulations.
