UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to deliver treatment, instruction, and patient education within home care settings under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. You will implement plans of care, support patient mobility, and promote wellbeing while ensuring safety and compliance.

Competenze

• Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy in state of practice.
• Current CPR certification.
• Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.
• Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client.
• Available to work a weekend rotation.

Mansioni

• Follow state-specific laws governing provision of physical therapy in home care and perform only those procedures qualified to perform.
• Instructs and aids patients in active and passive exercise, muscle re-education, gait, functional, ADL, transfer, safety, and prosthetic training.
• Observe, record, and report patient responses to treatment to supervising PT and care team; coordinate care with healthcare team.
• Instruct patients, family, caregiver, and others in therapy within PTA scope.
