Job summary

Qualifications

• Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in physical therapy in state of practice.
• Current CPR certification.
• Current driver's license and vehicle insurance or access to dependable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Follow state-specific laws governing home PT, work under supervising PT, and modify plan of care as needed.
• Instructs patients in active and passive exercise, gait, ADL, transfer, and safety.
• Observe and report patient progress, coordinate care with health team.
