Job summary

Caretenders is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant to deliver treatment and exercise instruction under the supervision of a Physical Therapist in a home-care setting.

You will follow the plan of care, document patient progress, and coordinate with the care team to support patient well-being. A flexible full-time weekday schedule is provided with a comprehensive benefits package and a $5,000 sign-on bonus for qualified new hires.

Qualifications

• Current, licensed physical therapy assistant in state of practice.
• Current CPR certification.
• Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to dependable vehicle or public transportation.
• Ability to work in home care settings across client demographics.
• Available to work a weekend rotation.

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws and plan of care defined by supervising PT.
• Instructs and assists patients with active and passive exercises, gait, ADL, and transfers.
• Observe and report patient responses to treatment to supervising PT and care team.
• Educate patient, family, and caregivers within the scope of PTA duties.
