Job summary

Aberdeen Assured Home Health, part of the LHC Group and within the Optum family, seeks a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to support in-home patients across Washington. You will follow the supervising PT's plan of care, provide exercise instruction, and educate patients to improve well‑being.

Required WA PTA license, CPR certification, valid driver's license, and ability to travel within the service area. Competitive compensation and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Licensed, registered, or certified to assist in physical therapy in state of Washington.
• CPR certification required or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Valid driver's license with reliable access to vehicle or public transportation.

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws and supervising PT plan of care; perform only qualified procedures.
• Instruct and aid patients in active/passive exercise, gait, ADL and safety training.
• Observe and report patient responses; coordinate care with healthcare team.
• Educate patient, family and caregivers on therapy scope and goals.
• Visit patients within the service area.
