Job summary

Aberdeen Assured Home Health, part of the LHC Group within the Optum family, is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to deliver in-home therapy under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. You will implement treatment plans, guide patients in exercise and functional activities, and coordinate care with the health team.

The role requires WA PTA licensure, CPR, reliable transportation, and a compassionate approach to diverse patient populations. Travel within the service area is expected.

Qualifications

• Licensed, registered, or certified to assist in physical therapy in Washington state.
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Valid driver's license and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
• Ability to work in diverse home settings.

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws and supervise PT plan of care; perform only procedures qualified.
• Instructs and aids patients in active and passive exercise, gait, ADL, transfers.
• Observe, record, and report patient responses; coordinate care with health team.
• Visit patients within the service area.
• Educate patient, family, caregiver on therapy within PTA scope.
