Job summary

Aberdeen Assured Home Health, part of the LHC Group within the Optum family, seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant to provide therapy services in home health settings. You will perform treatments, educate patients, and support the plan of care under a supervising PT.

Responsibilities include patient visits across the service area and coordination with the health care team to optimize outcomes. Washington licensure and CPR are required within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Licensed, registered, or certified to assist in physical therapy in Washington.
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and access to dependable transportation.
• Ability to function in home health settings with diverse patients.

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws and treatment plans defined by the supervising PT.
• Instructs and assists patients with active and passive exercise and gait training.
• Observes and reports patient responses; coordinates with the healthcare team.
• Educates patients, families, and caregivers on therapy within PTA scope.
• Visits patients within the service area.
