Qualifications

• Licensed, registered, or certified to assist in physical therapy in Washington.
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Proven ability to function in diverse home settings respecting client needs and rights.
• Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to dependable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Follow state-specific laws governing home physical therapy and adhere to the supervising PT's plan of care.
• Instruct and assist patients in active and passive exercises, gait, ADLs, transfers, and safety.
• Observe, record and report patient responses; coordinate care with the health team.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy within PTA scope.
• Visit patients within the service area.
