Job summary

Mountlake Terrace Assured Home Health, part of LHC Group and the Optum family, seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant to deliver treatment and education under a supervising Physical Therapist in a home-health setting.

Washington-licensed PTA with CPR is required. A valid driver’s license or dependable transportation and weekend availability are needed. Total compensation includes per-visit and hourly pay, within a target range of $85,000–$110,000 for a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy in the state of Washington.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to function in diverse home settings regardless of client background.
• Driver's license and reliable transportation or access to public transit.
• Available to work a weekend rotation.

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws and plan-of-care under the supervising PT.
• Instruct and aid patients in active/passive exercise, gait, ADL, and transfers.
• Observe, record, and report patient responses to treatment to the PT and care team.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy within the PTA scope.
