Job summary

DFW Home Health is hiring a full-time Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant to join our Dallas, Texas team. You will implement the plan of care under a supervising PT, educate patients and families, and support mobility, gait, and functional training in home settings.

The role requires PTA licensure, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work a weekend rotation. Relocation bonus is available, with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Current, licensed to assist in physical therapy in the state of practice.
• Current driver’s license and access to a vehicle or public transport.
• Willingness to work a weekend rotation.

Responsibilities

• Follow plan of care under supervising PT and perform only qualified procedures.
• Instruct patients in active and passive exercises, gait, ADL, transfers, and safety.
• Observe and report patient responses; coordinate care with healthcare team.
• Educate patient, family, and caregivers on therapy, within PTA scope.
