Amedisys, part of the Optum family, is hiring a Physical Therapist to deliver skilled services to patients in their homes, promoting mobility, independence, and safety. You will collaborate with patients, caregivers and the interdisciplinary care team to support recovery and prevent hospitalizations.

This full-time role requires a CAPTE-accredited education, a state PT license, CPR certification, and at least 1 year of home health PT experience; driving to patient visits is required.

Competenze

• Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program.
• Current license to practice physical therapy in the assigned state.
• Current CPR certification.
• 1+ years of PT experience for home health care.
• If less than one year, approval from regional clinical leaders and mentoring or residency.
• Driver's license and access to reliable transportation.

Mansioni

• Help patients maintain, restore and improve movement, activity and function.
• Provide interventions, conduct reexaminations every 30 days minimum, modify interventions as necessary, and perform discharge planning.
• Other duties as assigned.
