Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to provide treatment and education within the established plan of care in a home-health setting. You will follow state laws, work under a supervising PT, and help patients with exercises, gait training, and functional activities.

This role requires licensure, a valid driver's license, weekend availability, and CPR certification preferred. Compensation includes a comprehensive benefits package and 401k options.

Qualifications

• Licensed or certified to assist in physical therapy in the state of practice.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Available to work a weekend rotation.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws governing home PT and act under supervising PT.
• Instruct patients in active and passive exercises and gait training.
• Observe, document, and report patient responses to treatment.
• Educate patient, family, and caregivers on therapy within the scope of the physical therapy assistant.
• Collaborate with the health care team to coordinate care.
