Job summary

UnitedHealth Group seeks a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to provide treatment and patient education under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. You will support home care goals by guiding exercises, gait, and functional activities in diverse patient settings.

The role requires a valid license, driver’s license, and weekend availability, with compensation including per-visit pay, hourly wages, and full benefits based on productivity and role type.

Qualifications

• Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in physical therapy.
• Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to dependable transportation.
• Available to work a weekend rotation.

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws and the plan of care as defined by supervising PT.
• Instructs patients in active and passive exercise, gait, ADLs, and safety.
• Observe and report patient responses; coordinate with care team.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy within scope.
