UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to provide therapy services in home care, following the established plan of care and supervising PT guidance. You will educate patients and families on exercises, safety, and mobility within the PTA scope.

Qualifications

• Current, licensed to assist in physical therapy in the state of practice.
• Current driver’s license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation
• Available to work a weekend rotation.

Responsabilités

• Follow state laws governing physical therapy in home care and work only as defined by the supervising PT.
• Instruct and aid patients in active and passive exercises, gait, ADLs, transfers, and safety.
• Observe, record, and report patient responses to treatment to the supervising PT and care team.
