Optum's Patient Care division, part of LHC Group, is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant to support in-home care. You will deliver treatment, provide exercise instructions, and educate patients per the plan of care to enhance well-being.

The role requires current licensure as a PTA, a valid driver's license, weekend availability, and CPR certification preferred. You’ll join a team committed to caring, connecting, and growing together in a dynamic home-health environment.

Qualifications

• Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy in state of practice.
• Current driver’s license and vehicle insurance or public transportation access.
• Available to work a weekend rotation.
• CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Follow state laws and the supervising PT plan of care.
• Instructs and aids patients in active and passive exercise and gait training.
• Observes and reports patient responses to treatment to the PT and care team.
• Instructs patient and family in therapy within PTA scope.
• Function in diverse home settings regardless of age, race, creed, or disability.
