UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to perform treatment, provide exercise instruction, and patient education under the plan of care. The role emphasizes following state laws and coordinating with supervising PT and healthcare team.

Responsibilities include guiding patients in exercises, observing responses, and training family and caregivers. Must have current PTA licensure, valid driver's license, and weekend availability. A comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Formación

• Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy in state of practice.
• Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.
• Available to work a weekend rotation.

Responsabilidades

• Follow state-specific laws governing home care physical therapy.
• Instruct and aid patients in active and passive exercise and gait training.
• Observe and report patient responses; coordinate care with the healthcare team.
• Educate patient, family, and caregivers on therapy within scope of PTA.
• Function effectively with diverse patients regardless of background.
