Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have ACOTE-accredited OTA program
• NBCOT certification or eligibility
• Licensed to practice as OTA in the assigned state
• CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled interventions under the supervision of an occupational therapist
• Documents each visit per AOTA guidelines and regulatory standards
• Monitors patient responses and reports changes to the supervising OT
• Provides patient/caregiver resources for ADL/IADL needs
• Promotes wellness and prevention through occupational engagement
• Identifies community resources/services for patients
• Recommends follow-up care with admitting care center
• Stays current with occupational therapy trends and knowledge
