Amedisys Home Health is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our home health team in Stockbridge, GA. This full-time role provides skilled interventions under the supervision of an OT and requires documentation of visits per AOTA guidelines.

The position supports patients and caregivers, promotes wellness, and coordinates follow-up care with the care center. Competitive hourly pay from $37 to $47 with benefits and ample growth opportunities.

Qualifikationen

• Current license to practice as an occupational therapy assistant in the assigned state.
• Graduate of an occupational therapy assistant program, ACOTE-accredited.
• Eligible to take or has completed the NBCOT entry-level certification.
• One year related OTA experience or regional leadership approval with mentoring if less than one year.
• Current CPR certification.

Aufgaben

• Provides skilled interventions under the supervision of an occupational therapist per the approved plan of care.
• Documents each visit according to AOTA guidelines and regulatory standards.
• Observes, records and reports patient responses and any changes in condition to the supervising OT and clinical staff.
• Provides patient/caregiver resources for future ADL/IADL needs.
• Promotes wellness and prevention through engagement in meaningful activities.
• Demonstrates knowledge of community resources/services.
• Makes follow-up care recommendations in coordination with the admitting care center.
• Keeps abreast of OTA trends and knowledge for service provision and care coordination.
• Other duties as assigned.
